This temple was suggested by the priest at the Bettada Thimmappa temple, Bevoor (Blog link ). He advised us to visit this place since it is just 2-3 Kilometers from Bevoor with a surety that we wouldn't have seen such a huge statue of Goddess Chamundeshwari Devi anywhere.  So, without a second thought, we set off to our unplanned surprise element of the day – World’s tallest Chamundeshwari Statue. Priest told us that this temple is in Gowdagere village, Channapatna Taluk. You can even ask the local people for directions. Looks like this temple is recently built. Hence, we didn’t have difficulty reaching here since there were signboards all along the way leading us to the temple. We parked our vehicle at the parking lot and started walking towards the temple. Bevoor is a small village in Channapatna Taluk, Ramanagara district and Karnataka State. Bevoor is also home to famous temples on hillocks – Sri Siddarameshwara temple and Bettada Thimmappa temple. We set off from Bangalore with the plan to visit these two hilltop temples for a half-day tour. We started from Bangalore at 7 am in the morning and took a pit stop at famous A2B restaurant for breakfast on Bangalore-Mysore Road. Post breakfast we continued to drive on Bangalore-Mysore Road until we reached Channapatna. From here you can put on google maps to Bettada Thimmappa temple first since we had added Siddarameshwara temple, and the map mislead us once we reached Bevoor. Upon reaching Bevoor, you will see clear directions to the Bettada Thimmappa temple.
