Sai Teerth - India's First Immersive Devotional Theme Park

Image
Sai Teerth As mentioned in my earlier blog ( link ), after our lunch we took an auto for drop to Sai Teerth and we were charged Rs. 50 for this drive.  We headed straight to the ticket counter and showed the coupons we were given at the hotel. Ticket Price is Rs.450 per person. We got Rs.50 off on each ticket. We then took our tickets and entered the theme park. There are volunteers to guide you about all attractions inside the park. So there is no fear of missing out here.  Sai Teerth is India’s first ever immersive devotional theme park. There are 4 major attractions here – Teerth Yatra, Dwarakamai, Subka Malik Ek (movie on Sai Baba’s life) and Lanka Dahan(5D show). We showed our tickets and volunteers guided us towards the first attraction Teerth Yatra.   Teerth Yatra As you walk towards this attraction, you will see that there is hardly any queue here. Its just like any other ride of an amusement park. You will find 9-seater mini train and you need to hop onto them.  From here star

Shirdi - Welcome to the holy abode of Sai Baba

Shirdi is a city in the Indian State of Maharashtra and it is flocked by devotees from all over India to offer their prayers to Sai Baba. Sai Baba is said to have come to Shirdi and lived all his life protecting the people of Shirdi from sickness and any troubles they faced here. Hence the sacred temple town of Shirdi is also known as Sainagar. His teachings inspired lakhs of devotees every year to visit Shirdi and take his blessings. We had visited Shirdi almost 15 years back. It was family vacation time and we had planned Shirdi for a 2-3 days trip. But this time I saw it from the lens of a travel blogger and here goes my journey. We had booked to and fro train tickets from Bangalore since it was last minute booking we were not getting flight tickets. There are direct flights to Shirdi but not on all days. Other option is to take flights to Pune or Mumbai and hire a cab to Shirdi from there.  18 th  April 23, 2023 We boarded Mysuru Shirdi train on April 17 th  from Bangalore at 8:30
